[2][3]). Such pages are not fluff, but can be good places to find recruits for the project, possibly including subject-matter experts, especially if cross-referenced to the project. Also,
Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Cue sports (cf.
[4][5][6]).
Create timelines, both textual and graphical. See link for various guidelines and examples. We need an overall one for cue sports generally, and more specific ones as we drill down into more specific topics (timeline of
nine-ball, timeline of
Willie Mosconi's career, etc.).
Form sections:
Exhibition game needs section on cue sports; could later form a new article with "Main article..." xref to it. What other general articles need cue sports sections?
Images: improve articles with images from commons; create pics and add them to commons as GFDL/CC-by/PD.
Add: {{Sport overview}} to main articles of cue games that are real sports; medal table tags where they apply (see
Ding Junhui for example).
Insert: Cue sports events (tournament results, etc.) into the "year in sports" categories (e.g.
1965 in sports), using {{subst:
Cue sports heading}} if that year doesn't have one yet.

1927 World Snooker Championship is a
featured article; it (or a previous version of it) has been identified as one of the best articles produced by the
Wikipedia community. Even so, if you can update or improve it,
please do so.
Hi, so that there is no logo for those old tournaments, how about this pictogram instead? There is another version: . Tell me your opinions. ---

Well, looks better than nothing. You should have give other users a chance to have a look at it before reverting so fast. This is a talk page, I expected at least three opinions before making a decision. ---

"in 1924 from professional Tom Dennis had been rebuffed by the BACC's Secretary A. Stanley Thorn," - how about rejected instead?
"Davis drafted the conditions under which a Championship could take place," - the word in bold doesn't need to begin with a capital letter
"The Stanley Thorn, wrote that the decision to promote a professional championship" - don't think that Thorn's actual correct full name
"Gate receipts for each match, after expenses, were to equally shared out between the players concerned." - were to be equally
"Snooker historian Clive Everton wrote that when the professional snooker championship was introduced, "billiards was still very much the premier game, with snooker a sideshow which few were convinced would ever come to much as a public entertainment," and that the early championships received "minimal publicity." - repetition of "championship(s)"
"Ten players entered the championship." - try not to begin a sentence with a number
"had declined to participate in the championship[8]" - a full stop is missing before the reference and after the word "championship"
The Reference column can be deleted and the references put into a table header called "|+1927 World Snooker Championship schedule" or something similiar
"Match results are shown below. Winning players and scores are denoted in bold text.[18][20][22][25][28][33][36][44][51]" - an example of
WP:OVERCITE. Think the last citation can be used on the text and the rest of the references be put in the correct places on the draw bracket
As match info and dates are already sourced earlier in the article, I thought it would be better to cut refs down here. The Snooker Scene source has all the results, but not countries, so I looked elsewhere for that and came up against a hiccup I've tried to deal with via efn.
