I wrote this article and I couldn't find much information. But it is a very important article because many sources (even within wikipedia) probably still call this an earthquake and say it killed 300,000 people! Jdorje 07:05, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
1) Was the deadliest tropical cyclone in recorded history 2) Another cyclone hit Calcutta in 1864 that killed 60,000 3) Based on low-lying land, the North Indian Ocean is more vulnerable to tropical cyclones. 4) Climatology: Many other deadly North Indian cyclones hit land during October due to the end of the monsoon season. Not sure if that would help, but it something that could be mentioned, if needed. Hurricanehink 01:39, 10 January 2006 (UTC)
