so where exactly could we get a citation for "sixteen is slang for hip hop song"? Numerao 21:12, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
RE Netherlands ages
You can't buy weed or watch porn in the Netherlands till you're 18.

I doubt the claim that "16" is used to refer to the Belgian government in the same way that "10" is used to refer to the British goverment.
To begin with, the analogy is faulty. In the UK, the term "Number 10" is sometimes used to refer to the Prime Minister's office or the British goverment, not just "10". Furthermore, I cannot find any reference to this in the corresponding fr.Wikipedia article. It's possible the fr.Wikipedia guidelines for number articles are significantly different from "our"s, but this suggests a potential problem. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 20:35, 7 June 2015 (UTC)

The third paragraph (Sixteen is the third power...) doesn't appear to fit very well into a 'lead', which should be a summary of the article's most important points. Instead, this paragraph seems to list many miscellaneous appearances of 16 in history, among other things. I'm not saying that all of this information should be outright deleted as it very well could be moved to different sections later in the article. Moreover, the paragraph's writing doesn't seem to have any continuity and reads slightly like a list. Azurean72 ( talk) 12:18, 26 December 2022 (UTC)
