Full disclosure: I am currently a mid level 10X employee.
Someone directed me to the page about my company and mentioned we had a weird warning on top about how this article may have been written by someone who was paid without disclosing it. I whole heartedly agree with that policy, but in asking around on company Slack I've yet to find anyone who says they've paid for the article. The original author, /info/en/?search=User_talk:ParinazF, appeared to have been flagged for some other pages she wrote, and the content in this article really strikes me as a fair and quick summary of quickly found facts rather than a promotional piece. Though the fact that she still attempted to make free contributions after being blocked did strike me as odd.
I read the article and, bias stated above, really thought this was fair and have no reason to believe it was paid for. As a company employee I think I should generally avoid editing the page, but did make this one edit as I felt it was incorrect. Evolvedmicrobe ( talk) 04:47, 24 October 2019 (UTC)
Hello, Wikipedia. My name is Nick, and I've created an account here to suggest article improvements transparently as part of my work at Consort Partners. I've disclosed my conflict of interest on my profile page, and I plan to only post on Talk pages and avoid making changes to articles directly. I'd like to start by tackling the "undisclosed payments" banner at the top of this article, which was added by User:MER-C in July 2019. I should note, an employee of 10x Genomics removed the banner in October 2019, which was replaced by User:Duffbeerforme in May 2020. I'd like to clear up some confusion here and make a clear disclosure based on the above discussion. I can confirm that Consort Partners hired User:ParinazF as a consultant to draft the original article, which was submitted and accepted via Articles for Creation. This was before we were more familiar with disclosure requirements on Wikipedia. This also explains why User:Evolvedmicrobe was unaware of any 10x Genomics employees who worked on this page. I would like to offer editors this disclosure to display at the top of this talk page:
{{Connected contributor (paid)|User1=ParinazF|U1-employer=Consort Partners|U1-client=10x Genomics|User2=NT at Consort Partners|U2-employer=Consort Partners|U2-client=10x Genomics}}
I'm not sure if User:Evolvedmicrobe should be added to this template as well. Does this clarification help resolve the "undisclosed payments" banner? I notice the tag says, "It may require cleanup to comply with Wikipedia's content policies." Happy to see removal of any non-compliant text in order to make tag removal possible, and I can help address any concerns if any of the page content is at issue and needs to be reworded or otherwise edited.
I hope this helps, and thanks for your consideration. NT at Consort Partners ( talk) 20:09, 22 July 2020 (UTC)

Hi editors, my name is Patrick and I work for Consort Partners. I'm here to request edits on the behalf of my client, 10x Genomics. I was hoping to update some financial information based on 10x Genomics' most recent SEC 10-K form.
In the infobox, I was hoping to update the Revenue and Number of employees lines and a Net income line.

I won't make any edits myself due to my conflict of interest. Please let me know if you have any questions, and thank you in advance for your help. Patrick at Consort ( talk) 16:12, 24 May 2022 (UTC)

Hi editors, Patrick here again with another request on behalf of 10x Genomics. I was hoping we could update the last sentence of the History section to include the revenue numbers from 2021? Please let me know! @ IAmChaos:, would you be able to review this request as well? I'd really appreciate it! Patrick at Consort ( talk) 16:10, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
