The following discussion is an archived discussion of a
requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.
Comment: "Český svaz orientačního běhu" means "Czech union of orienteering", a name suitable for a federation of
orienteering (Czech:
orientační běh, genitive form: orientačního běhu, literally "orienteering
run[ning]", i.e. a specific type of orienteering sport. "Český svaz orientačních sportů" means "Czech union of orienteering sports", which implies a common governing body for all sports of that kind (I'm not qualified enough in the field to comment on whether there could be different types orienteering sports). Last May the Czech interwiki for the present article was
renamed to Český svaz orientačních sportů, and the page content below that diff says in Czech that on 1 January 2010 the union had its name changed from Český svaz orientačního běhu (ČSOB) to Český svaz orientačních sportů (ČSOS).
The official site of the body calls it Český svaz orientačních sportů, too. As per the above, support for the requested move and maybe also for a move to an
English title. --
