At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 8,347 in 1,733 households. [5] There were 4,554 inhabitants in 1,072 households at the following census of 2011. [6] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 4,778 in 1,147 households. The most populous of its 28 villages was Dastgerd, with 1,262 people. [2]
