It is found in Asia Minor and Europe, where it has been recorded from Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Slovakia, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, former Yugoslavia, North Macedonia, Greece and Ukraine, as well as on Corsica and Sicily.
