Sultan bin Salim bin Said al-Habsi is the current Minister of Finance of Oman [1] since 18 August 2020. [2] He is also the chairman of Oman Investment Authority. [3]
He has an accounting degree from Ain Shams University, Cairo. [4]
Before 2017 he was undersecretary of the ministry of finance and director general of tax survey and administration in the ministry of finance. [4] In September 2017 he was appointed as the deputy chairman of the board of governors of Central Bank of Oman. [3]
