Steve Tappin (born 5 September 1966) is a British leadership coach, the co-founder and CEO of Xinfu and co-author of The Awareness Code and The Secrets of CEOs.

Tappin was born on 5 September 1966. ^[1] He earned an MBA from Cranfield University, UK. ^[1]

Tappin began his career with the chemical company ICI, on a management training scheme.^{[ citation needed]}

In his late 20s and early 30s, he worked for KPMG, PA Consulting and Heidrick and Struggles.^{[ citation needed]} He noticed these global professional services firms faced similar challenges to the major corporations they advised, and this motivated Tappin to create Xinfu, a professional services firm. ^[2]

Since 2008, Tappin has been the founder and CEO of Xinfu, a CEO and leadership consulting firm." ^[2]
