Staudtia stipitata is a species of plant in the family Myristicaceae. Commonly known as Bokapi, [1] M'bonda ( Cameroon), Niove, M'boun ( Gabon), Kamashi or Nkafi ( Zaire) it produces red brown to yellow brown wood with a fine grain. [2]
