I have no problem with mentioning the influx of RU players who have tried RL post 1995 as a positive to the growth of RL but the RFU did not stop RL in the south as implied. Rewrite.

Are you suggesting that the only reason for the lack of RL outside of Yorkshire and Lancs for 100 yrs was because of the RFU? Joke. Explain lack of RFL initiatives, International credibility etc etc.

You quite wrongly imply that RU was solely responsible for the lack of RL spread in the south pre-96. It was not. List other causes to give balance.

Do not agree that because RU players couldn't play the "open" version of rugby, RL, that this constituted the sole reason (as implied) for the failure for RL to develop in the South. Plain wrong.

You infer that RU actively stopped RL from setting up clubs in the south of England when it did not. You also imply that the only people who could possibly play RL in the south were RU players!
