Renault
→Renault Group brands: rm purely decorative "list" (just a bunch of flags and logos, with wrong info, btw, as the Renault marque was established in 1898, before the company; Alpine can be either 1954 or 1955, depending on source; the table didn't include Mobilize, technically also a marque). I strongly disagree with a full section heading for a decorative table just after the lede. The only potentially useful info (sales) can be added in another section discussing the company operationscurrent

talk) - not correct - the Renault marque was already being introduced as such for some imported vehicles marketed by this company while this company's own marque was slowly being assimilated/phased out, (and still is!). Too complex to explain in the lede, there is a section on marketing for that. Besides, all the things written after "Korea" are PR jargon...Tag: Undo

Rm Horse. Horse is just the name of the company created by Renault and wholly owned by it to manage its engine operations in preparation of the Geely JV establishment, if it happens. The JV isn't established yet, and it will be a holding company encompassing Horse (Renault) assets and Geely/Volvo Cars ones. The holding company almost certainly won't be called Horse.

Update. In April 2024, the South Korean marketing was completely integrated into the Renault marque. Only the SM6 kept its original badge and the "Renault Korea Motors" naming (until discontinuation)

rm, not Somua production. GFA was never a "company" but a state-mandated informal grouping, and it was dissolved by the 1950s
