[1] Minor improvements in grammar and vocabulary. [2] Some factual updates. [3] Introducing consistency in the presentation of rollingstock classifications with uppercase letters, and [4] Grammar: 'Rollingstock' is a compound noun. As to meaning, it is to transport (specifically rail) as 'feedstock' is to industry, 'livestock' is to animal farming, and 'rootstock' and 'understock' are to horticulture. Splitting it into two words is a common grammatical error, but an error nonetheless.

Correct use of word. We can accept 'rollingstock' for the same reasons we use 'livestock', 'feedstock', 'rootstock', 'understock' etc. As two words, 'rolling stock' has an utterly different meaning.Tag: Undo

Undid revision 786526672 because this piece of detail is utterly pertinent to the incident and should not be relegated to a paragraph late in the article. Disagree that the sentence is disturbed.
