Somali Republic
This is very confusing, and it is made to fit the Somaliland political narrative instead of simply stating facts. The Somali Republic was simply a period in the history of Somalia after the independence (before independence in 1960 there was no Somalia to speak of).

There was a separate chapter named "The Isaaq genocide", it should be part of the Somali Civil war, therefore I placed it inside that article. The content itself (tho vague and loosely about the genocide) has not been altered , maybe I will if i find reliable sources. There is a link to the main article about the genocide, which is better written. This edit was inspired by {{Main| Germany}}Tag: Reverted
