Hermetia illucens
Removal of controversial and misleading assertion. The source specifies that saturated fat content is higher, which is why they assume it to be less healthy. Saturated fats being less healthy in general is far from established, however, with high quality studies tending to show the opposite. Therefore, it's best not to include such assertions, particularly without the facts that prompted them.

Great chain of being
→Scala naturae in evolution: Removed unsubstantiated paragraph. The idea of hierarchy was refined rather than abandoned. See articles: "Crown Group", "Basal (phylogenetics)", "Atavism", "Primitive (phylogenetics)", "Synapomorphy and apomorphy", etc

Amniote
Making an implicit claim about the "evolutionary great chain of being" here seems wrong to me. Amniotes do have several biological innovations compared to non-amniotes, which allowed them to take over most of the niches on land. In that sense they are superior, even though the non-amniotes have obviously kept evolving too.Tag: Visual edit

Prisoner's dilemma
Removed a subparagraph that was misadvertising a paper. The paper doesn't talk of "a different kind of rationality". Additionally, the two sentences are overly specific and completely out of place in the first section of the article.Tag: Visual edit

Gecko
Cleaned up introduction. Removed sentence bits that didn't belong to the introduction, were redundant, misleading, or all of the preceding.Tag: Visual edit

Gecko
Fixed a sentence that is incorrect as written. The factor 350 was obtained by comparing gecko color vision with human cone cells, which are optimized for bright light. Human rod cells are much more sensitive, but do not provide color vision.Tag: Visual edit
