MeToo movement
Reverting. Minimal corrections. I don't mind if this is compressed retaining the key points. Rough violation of the not negotiable neutrality rule, "no original research" rule, removal of the key points with secondary and other sources (looks like vandalism). MeToo movement
No original research. "who later adopted the tactic" -> "who later used the tactic" (the tactic does not belong to Ms. Burke)

MeToo movement
No original research. If we don't split the MeToo movement on MeToo of Ms. Burke and MeToo or Ms. Milano (as was done for India somehow), the we have to admit MeToo had several purposes (see my further additional edits).

MeToo movement
In the lead section: "other" -> "some other". That could be done by silently passing a bill or making a protest; terrorists could do terroristic acts fighting for their social justice, which is not good, and so on.

→2017 (Alyssa Milano): In the section "2017 (Alyssa Milano)": "#MeToo" -> "MeToo of Alyssa Milano". I suggest to split the article on the "MeToo of Tarana Burke" and "MeToo of Alyssa Milano". See further coming now edits.

MeToo movement
No original research. I am editing the lead section to make it to correspond to article's body. We know for sure that event of 2017 didn't depend on Tarana Burke (see the corresponding section).

talk) Now it looks like vandalism. You were explained the wikipedia rules on my talk page, given days to respond, which you didn't, and now contrary to the rules you removed the subsection saying it has only Twitter as sources, whereas the 4th source is www.today.com; there could be no source provided, and the content should be attributable, not necessarily attributed (read the rules!)Tag: Undo

MeToo movement
changed "alternative" -> "related" in the lead section to avoid original research; we only know they are related in some way, and the coinciding or similar names (such things happen everywhere from time to time, e.g., with organizations) does not yet mean they are about exactly the same event or movement, and so we cannot say they are alternative names.
