Apocryphal means something is said to be true yet still of a dubious nature, therefore it possibly apocryphal is redundant. At the very least it means possibly possibly fake, which is really a double negative meaning possibly real, but if something is possibly real, it's also possibly fake, as well as possibly possibly fake, thus possibly need not be included.
