Tenor horn
Contrary to some confusion that occurs mainly in the US, the tenor horn is an instrument in B-flat, just like the baritone, and has the same range as the latter. Those who confuse the tenor horn with the alto horn (which is in E-flat), have to study European tradition more closely. There is no such thing as "tenor horn in E-flat" - this could only be an alto horn which is much smaller and corresponds to the military French horn in E-flat which was traditionally used by wind orchestras.
