Polycystic ovary syndrome
→Cause: "Allele" implies there is a single gene that causes PCOS. It sounds like researchers don't yet know if it's controlled by one gene or (more likely) many genes, much less which gene(s) are responsible.

Homeotic selector gene
This page should be merged into the Hox gene page. No one who does research on Hox genes calls them "homeotic selector genes", I think that was a historical thing. The function of each Hox gene in flies would be a great addition to the Hox page.

Hox gene
→Hox nomenclature: no citation needed, the "x" suffix for transcription factors is a convention in molecular biology, e.g. Sox, Tbx, although not all transcription factor names end with "x". I'm curious to know why.
