This does not nullify their status as distinct phonemes it anyway. Voiceless dental and alveolar lateral fricatives
This page has been implying for who knows how long that voiceless alveolar lateral fricatives and voiceless alveolar lateral approximants are somehow considered the same by some scholars. These two sounds differ in then manner of articulation (approximant/fricative), they do not belong on the same page, nor does any scholar/linguist consider them to be the same.Tag: Visual edit
