Book censorship in China
I added new information about recent international and local responses to book censorship in China. I feel that this gives much needed new information for this section and shows that people all around the world have not been quite to China's censorship of literature.Tag: Visual edit

I took out some sentences that I thought didn't really fit in with the new section created. I thought that these sentences didn't really add much in terms of content and was a little to random in terms of what it said.Tag: Visual edit

Book censorship in China
Here I changed this section from recent developments to responses to banned books. I thought that section prior was a little off-topic and broke up the article as a whole with unorganized information loosely linked together. I think that this section incorporates some information already written while adding much needed recent information concerning banned books in China.Tag: Visual edit

Book censorship in China
This is the sentence about the similarties of censorship in Taiwan as in Hong Kong and Mainland China. I also added a sentence that leads into the next section, Responses to banned books. I feel that this makes it more intuitive and easy to read for the reader.Tag: Visual edit

Book censorship in China
Here I added some sentences about recent events in terms of book censorship in Taiwan. I felt that having an example from this year would make the claims stated about Taiwan seem more credible and reliable. I also made sure to hit the fact that Taiwan also must go through some of the same publishing issues that Mainland China publishers face to strengthen the sentence later about how Taiwan and Hong Kong go through similar publishing issues that the rest of China faces.Tag: Visual edit

I added more context about the CCP's influence in Taiwan. I did this to show the similarities between Taiwan and Hong Kong, for they both practiced self-censorship in response to the CCP's demands.Tag: Visual edit

Book censorship in China
I reworded the sentence introducing the types of banned books because I thought that it was a little wordy and broke up the flow of the paragraph. I also added the section about taboo social topics being banned from the intro.Tag: Visual edit

Book censorship in China
Here I rearranged the sections about Mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. I thought that Mainland China should go first because it is the biggest out of the three, and has the most information about it. I then thought that Hong Kong should come second especially in the recent events. Then I thought that Taiwan should come last because there is the least amount of information about it.Tag: Visual edit

Book censorship in China
Here I added information about China's current president Xi Jinping. I saw that the article didn't have much information about the current events of book censorship in China. Also, there was no mention of Xi Jinping, when he has done a lot in terms of book censorship.Tag: Visual edit

Book censorship in China
Here I added a lot of context for the cultural revolution. Because Mao Zedong was the major leader under the cultural revolution I used him to talk about it. I used reputable essays by academics to show diffrent quotes describing the CCP's actions during the cultural revolution. I took out a couple of sentences that I thought made the section unclear and hard to follow. I made everything in the section be about the cultural revolution and Mao Zedong.Tag: Visual edit

Finally, for the lead, I added two sentences about international response, and local response, something that explains the new section "Responses to banned books" that I plan to create later.
