Added back Smithsonian Institutes examination/vetting of Rife's Universal Microscope. "Weak source" stated as reason for removal by Alexbrn, so I found primary source in Smithsonian's own archives.

Smithsonian vetting of his microscope in 1944 annual report is a major pro-Rife point deleted here in favor of standardized bashing of the man's complex life that intersected with many powerful personalities and institutions.

This article is a disgrace by comparison with Lynes'Book, subtly denigrated here by surrounding sentences (non sequitur). It is an excellent work -- highly substantiated. // Rosner's book is used by many Lyme patients and outlines the serious devices in use today; not the fraudulent garbage that also exists - all that is highlighted herein. This topic demands current expertise, not cited old AMA opinions from more than 20 years ago. As written, this needs work. – — ° ′ ″ ≈ ≠ ≤ ≥ ± − × ÷ ← →

This article is unfair to Rife. I'm trying to balance it. The work w/ resonant frequencies to kill pathogens is ongoing. Anthony Holland of Novobiotronics is a leader in this field right now and I have included him. I am a medical book writer, a professional with solid studies in Rife's work. This article is trying to trash him, largely using AMA critics. I would suggest it is more complex and as yet undecided -- using EMF to kill pathogens. AMA membership is way down, btw - only 25% of MDs.

I found the article cited. It referred to a single (ONE) device analyzed: "Electronics Australia magazine, which has been campaigning against the gadgets, analysed one and found that it consisted of a nine-volt battery, some wiring, a switch, a timer and two short lengths of copper tubing - components worth about $15. The electrical current delivered was "almost undetectable" and unlikely even to penetrate the skin, let alone kill any organism."

The Smithsonian board of regent's report and review of Rife's microscope in 1944 -- published by them - is of great significance and alone makes Rife worthy of serious consideration -- I have added mention of this report and cited it at the outset of the article, as the whole entry seeks to minimize or even slander Rife's importance eight from the start, discouraging the serious reader. One need only READ the report to see Rife's genius.

Thomas McPherson Brown
The fact of Brown's career and his substantial remission rate for RA stated at top of article here contradicts the use of "small" improvement at end of article, as does MIRA trial -- famous -- cited here.

Consistency in referring to Brown's success level with his antibiotic treatment -- stated to be significant at top of article then called 'small' at end of article in previous version. His result were in fact significant.

Added a line about Ian McKewan -- among the top 50 living British writers -- very elegantly explaining why the return of the novella format is so welcome. Great citation, choice information to help a reader decide on length and cost of a book project.

This edit - worked out in a sandbox set up by NeilN - adds a new starting price in the world market for the shorter book like the Kindle Singles. This market was scarce before Kindle & other digital readers and distribution/Only top 2ndary sources cited.

After Pink Beasts good cleanup, added a few constructive, carefully researched details, in Remuneration and Credit section, re ghosts and authorship credit. I work in publishing and know this is a very sensitive issue - central to hiring a ghostwriter.
