Self-refuting idea
Removed "sola scriptura" because it's an odd, sectarian digression into a specific religious view - as well as an inaccurate depiction of the belief - and out of place. See discussion.

Faculty are not required to be Protestant (and what "protestant" means is contentious...like are Mormons protestant?). Students are required to be Christian, as article later notes.

Protestantism
Added definition of denomination taken from World Encyclopedia to reference, as part of dispute with Anglo-Catholic editor TB.

Protestantism
Removed the "33,000" claim because it is a Catholic polemic that groups Protestants with Mormons, random cults, etc. It was misleading as stated.

Protestantism
Mormons are hierarchical, have a priesthood, and are led by an "infallible" prophet. They are not like Protestants in any respect. Reworded section appropriately.

Protestantism
Removed "Dissension in the Ranks of Protestantism" because it said nothing not already said elsewhere in the article and seemed purely polemic.

Apostolic succession
Removed an attempt by a Catholic apologist to label Mormons and Unitarians "Protestants." Both groups are non-Christians and do not hold to sola scriptura.

Sacred tradition
Added section on Protestant position - seems fair, since Catholic Apologists added "Catholic position" to sola scriptura article.

Great Apostasy
I reworded a sentence to clarify that Catholic theologians "claim" early Christian writings support modern dogmas. There is as much debate about early Christian writings as the Bible itself.

Sola scriptura
Reversed previous edit. I wrote this section, by and large, to begin with, and all the pertinant info in it is elsewhere in the article. Other stuff doesn't belong.

Sola scriptura
Removed "Catholic Position" section because it simply bloviated on statements that were already made in a concise form earlier in the article. See discussion page.

Sola scriptura
Removed links to an RCC apologetics site. The material at this site was factually inaccurate, and the repeated attempts to add RCC apologetics to this article expand it beyond its scope.
