Steppenwolf (band)
there were legally sanctioned versions of steppenwolf extant between 1976-1980. the lawsuit between kay & st. nicholas acknowledges this. Nick & Goldy DEFAULTED on this legal agreement, which is why they lost their royalties. please don't revert.

There has been an officially licensed version of Steppenwolf touring since 1967, though 1973 may be the exception, I can't remember. The bands w/o John Kay were still legal and offically sanctioned.
