Qubit
I clarified my additional edit. Fundamentally photons have spin, but this can be measured as linear polarization also depending on the detector. So, while qubit applications often use Horizontal and Vertical representation, it is important not to propagate a misconception about fundamental physics. This edit tried to thread that needle.Tag: 2017 wikitext editor

I changed vertical and horizontal to left-handed and right-handed. This corrects the fundamental physics of photons. An individual photon has angular momentum, which results in circular polarization not linear polarization.Tag: 2017 wikitext editor

→Other scales: The prior description was somewhat misleading about the Vega system. It failed to convey the concept of an absolute calibration standard, and why there was a need to replace the Vega system. It also propagated a misconception about the fundamental nature of absolute calibration.Tag: 2017 wikitext editor

→Physics: I simply integrated the relationship given over half a sphere, and wrote it in vector notation. This is very handy for simulation work. Since I did not write the previous part, I do not know what the reference "Glenn" refers to.
