I added another citation from Radio-Canada where the news sources has the full quote for the university spokesperson (see fourth paragraph in News article ). My edit is a verbatim translation of the quote.Tags: RevertedVisual editMobile editMobile web edit

Reverting to old edit. Reason: New edit says "he is known as main author." I would avoid characterizations about a living person without evidence to prove the he is known as a main author, since these are based on perceptions.

Added details about a growing scandal around Charlebois. All information is cited. Scandal will likely be turned into an official investigation, so I ask to be vigilant and update official sources once the outcomes are out.Tags: RevertedVisual editMobile editMobile web edit

The pieces article relied heavily on True North’s opinión when presenting the story about the litigation process and seemed to have a promotional tone. I didn’t add any new information nor removed any essential info. I simply editred the piece without the heavy promotional content About TN’s positionTags: Visual editMobile editMobile web edit

Horse Eye's Back (
talk) I do accept your undoing of my revision if it's based on actual evidence that my edit was wrong. Saying "A claimed this, but B subsequently proved the opposite," implies two things: (i) there was a chronological order in A's claim and B's claim. In this case, the references don't show it. And (ii): B was disproved A. In this case, the references don't show this.Tags: Manual revertReverted

→2021 "Buttergate": I agree with mostly with the edits and reverts that were made by Toddst1. But the edited sentence imply the debate was fully resolved thanks to Charlebois' studies. The references provided to substantiate such claims include two peer-reviewed articles from Charlebois (note: the studies were added by 24.89.225.90, which has a tagged CoI with Charlebois). The two other sentences contradict the claim. But none of the references show that the evidence is undisputable.Tags: RevertedVisual edit

Made the tone more neutral. The previous sentence argues that there was a *resolute* proof that palmitic acid causes the butter hardness, but the references provided simply point out to news pieces arguing to the contrary, and to academic papers with differing views.Tags: RevertedVisual editMobile editMobile web edit

Removed an unsubstantiated claim about the history of Buttergate. The reference provided is unrelated to the claim. Specifically, the removed sentence alleges that a tweet from Charlebois widened public discussion about Buttergate, but the reference provided is a simply an article authored by Charlebois in the media. It doesn’t provide any evidence of the claimTags: RevertedVisual editMobile editMobile web edit

→Studies and reports: I corrected a few typos and grammatical issues. I also condensed a few sentences in his "studies and reports section," to organize the studies in chronological order and improve the manuscript flow. No essential content was removed or added; I just improved the readibility.Tag: Visual edit

I removed an excerpt about the food price index. There is already a wiki article that discusses this index and it’s history (which can be accessed by clicking the hyperlink); there is no need to discuss the history of this index in this article.Tags: Visual editMobile editMobile web edit

I accept the previous revert to my edits with the intent of preserving neutrality. But still, there were a few redundancies that I isnsitd to remove. Specifically, I removed the degreees paragraph, which is already shown in the bio panel. Also, there is no need to show Charlebois’ exact salary figure to make the point. Finally, I removed an old cross-appointment that is not relevant—the appointment already ended.Tags: Visual editMobile editMobile web edit
