Ida Pruitt
I added the probable identity of the Chinese woman sitting with Pruitt in the photo. She seems to be the subject of the autobiography "A Daughter of Han," which Pruitt compiled from conversations with Ning.

Apparently someone vandalized the article by changing the caption of the main photo to something involving "moshiach", and by changing his middle name in the summary box on upper right from Hilmy to Moshiach. When I reopened the article, the caption had been corrected. But the wrong middle name is still there, so I changed it to Hilmy.Tag: Reverted

Edmund Husserl
Deleted 'of Jewish origin' from general description of Husserl at beginning. Judaism is essentially a religion, not a racial, ethnic or national origin. On the other hand, the numerous references to his Jewishness are relevant and appropriate, especially in light of the implications of Nazism.

I tried to make the grammar more graceful in the Biography section. Note I did my best with the following sentence - perhaps someone familiar with Godollo University could correct it if necessary: "He and colleagues also established a new course in environmental management for agricultural engineers in 1990."

Battle of Okinawa
Omitted some words in attempt to improve clarity of sentence, which confusingly referred to 'lists of government sources' or something like that. Given greater understanding of this information, perhaps someone else can improve this reference further.

I think the writer misread the New Yorker article's connection between authors and recommended books; I belief Denk says this, not Gladwell, and Denk is the more logical person, since he is a world famous pianist.

Gerald Finzi
In first paragraph of biography, omitted the 'nevertheless' preceding "Finzi nevertheless became one of the most characteristically "English" composers of his generation." Just because he was of Jewish background made him no less British.
