Probus (son of Magnus)
The second deleted Settipani reference to Probus is relevant. I do not know on what basis Llywarch determined Settipani was a banned contributor. He is well cited in the Early Medieval History field. Descent from Antiquity is Irrelevant.

Arnulf of Metz
Two hagiographical sources name Arnulf's parentage. One is clearly false; the other has nothing to suggest it is false. The latter was written ca 800. Arguments Carolingian descendants would not know their ancestors over 150-200 years are unpersuasive.

Bobraynor, your statement that citations were misused is simply wrong. Half of Halfond's own cited references regard Settipani's work positively. Cf Beech below. Please have the courtesy to consult before reversion.
