Prime Ministerial Car
Removed reference to PM in favour of simply 'occupants', since these cars may carry other people (e.g. ministers or PM's family members) without the PM being present. Also changed 'protect against' to 'safeguard in the event of'. I feel that 'protect against' might imply a degree of 'prevention' - and in any event 'safeguard' seems like more appropriate language.current

Corrected poor writing standards - the section begins by discussing 'cars' plural but suddenly jumped to discussing a singular case.

Potchefstroom
Removed phrase about the local airport from a section on sports facilities - it was unreferenced and nothing to do with sports facilities.

Laura Muir
removed mention of Gemma Reekie as this article is about Laura Muir. Also, this edit corrects a syntax error whereby the subjects of the sentence were "Muir and Reekie", but subsequently referred to by the singular pronoun 'her'.

Mayfair (cigarette)
Removed reference to defunct 'Gallaher Group'. Removed advertising tagline as its inclusion was in breach of UK law. Acting in line with WP box warning that this article reads like a commercial advert.

Mayfair (cigarette)
Removed reference to Gallaher Group as it no longer exists. Removed advertising slogan as UK law prohibits this. Removed reference to value and price as incorrect, outdated and in breach of UK law.

Mayfair (cigarette)
Removed word 'English' from 'English brand of cigarette'. The intended phrase was undoubtedly "UK brand", but since the article goes on to mention the international markets for this brand it is clearly incorrect to call it either an English or a UK brand.

Glasgow Central (UK Parliament constituency)
Made some edits to reflect the fact this is now a former constituency - including changing tenses. Some of the content strikes me as drivelous - phrases like "Glasgow city centre to the north including Kelvingrove", when Kelvingrove is in the west. Also vague statements about student populations and "best educated constituency". I've done as much as I can be bothered to do, to at least bring key aspects up to date in 2024.

Corrected syntax error "a mutations", including correction that this pathology is caused by one or more mutations. Removed word "certain" as in "certain genes" as it was redundant/superfluous.

Kim Jong Un
The quoted reference suggests Mr Kim gained 30kg in weight/mass - it does not state that his weight gain was in the form of fat. It is unkind and inaccurate to suggest otherwise. He may have been working out.

As per question I raised in Talk, someone replied that 'snow line' is primarily known as 'frost line'. There was one other mention of 'snow line' in the article, therefore I have changed the other two mentions from 'snowline' to 'snow line' and linked them to the relevant WP article.

1988–1994 British broadcasting voice restrictions
Changed "killed several British soldiers" to "killed eight British soldiers". The use of the word "several" was at best inaccurate and at worst flippant and disrespectful. This is an encyclopaedia, and language like "several" is a clear case of WP:weaselwords.

→Cast: In addition to being the writer and director, Billy Luther narrates this film as the lead character Benny, as grown-up Benny looking back on this story of his summer on the 'rez'.

Frybread Face and Me
Towards the end of the film, the lead character Benny corrects his mum when she calls his cousin 'Frybread Face', which is her nickname. Benny says to his mum, "Her name is Dawn". For the rest of the film Benny's cousin is only given her proper name of Dawn, intended perhaps to symbolise his respect and stronger bond with her, as well as his realisation that he is at the 'dawn' of his adulthood. In any event, the character's real name is Dawn and this should be included for completeness.
