Hydroxyapatite
Let's make things clear (again...): there is NO such mineral as "hydroxyapatite". The IMA - International Mineralogical Association - the ONLY institution that sets rules in regard of nomenclature of MINERALS, is clear here: the CORRECT NAME is hydroxylapatite. And there is no argument in the fact that "medicians" write it, almost exclusively, in the wrong form, i.e., without the "L". Ignorance is common in science. Bone is made of a mineral; as such, it is MINERALOGY that is to be used.~~~~
