Diode
→Threshold voltage: traced https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Siirded.png in Inkscape and cleaned up a bit and only use (positive) forward current and voltage for simplicity and made into an .svg to compare these four common diodes (added Infrared GaAs to the table too).Tag: Visual edit

Diode
→Operating regions: Deleting "Thus, if an external voltage greater than and opposite to the built-in voltage is applied, a current will flow" because that is not actually what the diode law says. Doesn't have to be greater than built-in voltage...adding {{See also|P–n diode#Forward bias}} instead, which explains: the forward current increases exponentially with forward bias voltage due to the exponential increase in carrier densities, so there is always some current at even very small valuesTag: Visual edit

Piezoelectric sensor
→Electrical properties: separate into separate subsections. Invoking concept of
Mechanical–electrical analogy and specify that that Ce, Lm, and Co are not real electrical elemental but are rather are analogous to them, while Ri is a real electrical resistance. Deleted hidden note asking what Cs is, because Cs is not actually included in this schematic...the schematic might ought to be updated to add Cs at the end...and maybe an updated schematic could specify what is analogy or real.Tag: Visual edit

Johnson–Nyquist noise
→History of thermal noise: copying this Dörfel citation to the thought experiment caption, cause it also describes it, though not quite in as much detail (this Dörfel citation does talking about the magnetic and electric fields as two separate degrees of freedom, which was slightly different wording than the Nyquist...anyway I'm avoiding that word degree of freedom so it doesn't matter...1/2 kT is magnetic and 1/2 kT is electric.Tag: Visual edit
