I think that the original series have a lot of kappa agonism, so although it's an analgesic, NO WAY would it be of any use to anyone. It's all just very useful with the x10 increases with every improvement - Undergrads could do thesis on series.

Corrected patent number of original spiro compound research which is mainly antagonists with some being agonists at the delta receptor (from the look of them). Certainly academic interest only.

Added patent to original work on spiro derivatives and removed '11 steps as', with the march of technology, I think it's possible in 9 or 10, but still totally impractical and pointless to criminals while SO MANY simple options exist.

Just left in CAS for trans isomers as that is the form tested in animal studies. The CAS for all 4 isomers exists, but I cannot see WHEN it would ever be of use. Checked patent - 11 steps because of the need to build the spiro compound.

Papaver somniferum
added patent of low-morphine strains. No use for making Heroin but used by pharmaceutical companies to make semi-synthetic opioid analgesics (didn't add patent to method but complex so not usable for illicit drugs.

Added note on complexity of synthesis as I recall it from the patent. This should mean that it's impractical for clandestine chemists and thus for informational purposes (for completests studying the series).
