Colombia
There’s no way 1/4 of Colombian population is predominantly black. This is not supported by the census, in which Colombians self-reported their ethnicity nor is it backed by genetic studies. The CIA actually put the % of Colombian mestizos at 49% and that of whites at 37%, with blacks accounting for 10% and they delivered this using data from the 2005 census. These estimates you post are not reliable and are outdated. Better to stick to the census in this case.Tags: UndoReverted

The Andes mountain range, the Pacific Coast, amongst other regions are not shared with just those countries so no need to over emphasize them?

The thing is... Pardo is not a term used in Colombia, not even in the census. As for the Arab thingy, most Middle Easterns in Colombia are of Levantine origin and Christians and are often called Turks, but that's another story. Middle Eastern is more suitable than 'Arab'.Tag: Undo

Afro-Colombians
'The validity of recent DANE censuses have been contested and called out by various Afro-Colombian groups.' That was before DANE's correction. Afro population went from 2,982,224 to 4,671,160 when taking into account households' surveys. So it was addressed and no more reports have been filed.Tag: Reverted
