Holocene extinction
Wiki page ran together the “Holocene Extinction” and the more recent “sixth mass extinction.” The former can mean either the raft of extinctions at the start of the Holocene period about 12,000 years ago, or all the extinctions from then to the present. The latter typically refers to the great increase in extinctions in the past 100 to 200 years. Now easier to understand and formulated more succinctly.Tags: RevertedVisual edit
