→Name variations: This section is uneccesary as these are not name variations but rather translations from Arabic into other languages of the same meaning. If we wrote an article about Toast would we have a table listing every translation? I see nothing like this on any other article in Wikipedia. Muslims regardless of language pray and practice their religion in Arabic including when they talk about it so what its translation is in another language has little meaning or benefit here.Tag: 2017 wikitext editor

→Sunni Islam: Removed false statements attributed to Sunni Scholars. The statements writing by the editor who added them are of a biased Shia source. Shias to support their beliefs often will try to make claims about the Sunni beliefs and its evident that the statement in the article which lacked citations was biased to support Shia POV. Additionally, removed the statement that Najm al-Din al-Askari (Shia scholar) in his book claims another 40 Sunni Scholars have specific beliefs.Tag: Visual edit

Removing Jafari and the argument for this is that Oxford while a generally credible academic source is not authoritative on Islam. Much of the academics at Oxford are either Ex-Muslim, Non-Muslim or members of a minority non-mainstream sect like Sufism or Shia Islam both being very small minorities of Islam. Jafari which is referenced here is not considered by any credible mainstream theologians to be a maddhab.Tag: Visual edit
