→Immune system: ATG16L1, autophagy and it's relationship to CD, which was sourced, is now sourced again by 4 journals, don't just delete whole sections please and take it to the talk page

talk) Not only is it sourced it is well known, ATG16L1 induces apoptosis through VDR + NOD2, ATG16L1 / NOD2 genes are involved in CD. Don't vandalise, use talk page..

Yobol (
talk) Not sure why ATG16L1 and T Cell information was removed, it's an integral part of genotyping and T cell response in crohn's disease. I restored it.

Crohn's disease
added "wrongly" to autoimmune description, in light of more evidence showing lowered LPS response, next to already known NOD2 and ATGL16 risk factors, "autoimmune" should be removed completely in favor of immune deficiency unless proven

Crohn's disease
→Microbes: Important to point out that one microbe does not exclude the other. In the last years invasive E Coli has been found multiple times during biopsies and PCR serum, so has MAP, suggesting crohn is a manifestation of multiple diseases.

Autoimmune disease
Removed crohn's disease from the autoimmunity list. At best crohn has been described as an autoinflammatory disease, a better description would be immune deficiency and an overexpression of the adaptive immune sysyem.
