St. Louis Cardinals
Stop vandalizing this article with the nonsense that the Cardinals won their division in 2001; they did NOT win it. The MLB's own site says they finished second. You can't win your division AND be a wild card.

St. Louis Cardinals
The MLB site trumps the HOF site. They finished second. It has nothing to do with hating the Cardinals. The 2005 Red Sox and 2006 Dodgers are not recognized as co-champs.

St. Louis Cardinals
Quit being a Cardinals' homer. What part of "second place" do you not understand? The MLB website trumps the Hall of Fame website. "2nd place" has nothing to do with playoff seeding. It's where they finished in their division.
