Mogami-class frigate
→Design: I found this section confusing because it got right into the 30FF, as if it is the actual design, rather than making it clear that this was a concept that was carefully considered, before being discarded. So I took out "design", switched some words and added in: "intention". Then I put BOLD around the two competing designs to make it clear in both paragraphs as to the two (2) competing designs, and which was finally chosen to be built. Changed "is" to "were"; plural + past tense.

Marlin-class submarine
It is clear under
Scorpène-class submarine#Potential operators, "Spain", that the Marlin is only a Design. So I put "proposed" and "design" in the opening paragraph. As for the rest, you can delete the second paragraph which I added if you want, but I think that my supposition is correct, indeed OBVIOUS, since the S-80 is almost double the size of the Scorpène. Thus, in order to compete with the S-80, DCNS would have to develop a design much larger than the Scorpène!
