Deskilling
I removed the bullet point under "examples of deprofessionalisation" about librarians being replaced by book check-out machines. Librarians do not check out books in the first place; that is done by para professionals or clerks. There was no citation or source for that statement, and the source cited on the last bullet point in the list doesn't mention books OR libraries OR librarians.current

I am commenting on an assumption in this article that librarians will be replaced by self check-out machines. I would like to have a discussion about this in the talk section of this article.
