On 5 August 2015, Carroll scored the second goal of a 2–0 win against [[A.C. Milan]] in the 2015 edition of the [[Audi Cup]]. Carroll went on to score his first competitive goal for Tottenham on 10 December 2015 as a youthful Spurs side routed Monaco 4–1 in the Europa League, alongside a first-half hat-trick from Erik Lamela.
