Sophoricoside is an isoflavone genistein glycoside found in the dried ripe fruit of Styphnolobium japonicum ( L.) Schott, which is used in traditional Chinese medicine. At the time the chemical was discovered and named, the plant was called Sophora japonica L. [1]
