Sneha Shankar is an Indian playback singer and live performer. She has sung for many Bollywood movies, including Hanuman: Da' Damdaar, and Chup: Revenge of the Artist.
Sneha Shankar is the daughter of singer and music director Ram Shankar, [1] and granddaughter of Shankar of the Sufi singers duo Shankar-Shambhu. [2] At the age of six she appeared in a TV show MTV Sound Trippin on MTV India.[ citation needed]
Shankar started her career and participated in various singing reality shows including The Super Star Singer.
In 2019 she sang for the Hindi version of a Hollywood movie The Lion King. [3]
She has worked with various music composers including Himesh Reshammiya, Sneha Khanwalkar, Amit Trivedi, and Jeet Gannguli.[ citation needed]
