Sirch ( Persian: سيرچ) [a] is a village in, and the capital of, Sirch Rural District of Shahdad District, Kerman County, Kerman province, Iran. [4] Despite its proximity to the city of Shahdad, it does not have a desert climate.[ citation needed]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,688 in 445 households. [5] The following census in 2011 counted 2,599 people in 777 households. [6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,550 people in 511 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district. [2]
