Shurjeh ( Persian: شورجه) [a] is a village in, and the capital of, Shuricheh Rural District of the Central District of Sarvestan County, Fars province, Iran. [4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 993 in 227 households, when it was in Sarvestan Rural District of the former Sarvestan District of Shiraz County. [5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,033 people in 320 households, [6] After the 2006 National Census, Sarvestan District was separated from Shiraz County in the establishment of Sarvestan County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Sarvestan as its capital. [4] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 921 people in 269 households. [2]
