Shirin Su Rural District ( Persian: دهستان شيرين سو) is in Shirin Su District of Maneh County, North Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Kalimani (کالیمانی), [3] transferred from the village of Khartut. [4]
At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the former Maneh District of the former Maneh and Samalqan County) was 7,761 in 1,635 households. [5] There were 8,819 inhabitants in 2,021 households at the following census of 2011. [6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 9,618 in 2,241 households. The most populous of its 29 villages was Kohneh Jolgeh, with 2,010 people. [2]
In 2023, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Maneh County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Pish Qaleh as its capital. [3]
