Shabana Shajahan Aryan (née Shajahan; born 30 August 1993) is an Indian actress who works in Malayalam and Tamil television industry. Her notable roles include Parvati in Zee Tamil's Sembaruthi (2017–22).

Shabana is married to actor Aryan since 2022. [1]

Early life and career

Shabana was born on 30 August 1993 in Mumbai, Maharashtra in a Muslim family. [2] [3]

Shabana made her television debut with Malayalam TV's Vijayadashami (2016). Her breakthrough came with Zee Tamil's Sembaruthi (2017–22), in which she was cast as Parvati, love interest of Karthik Raj's character.

In March 2023, Shabana started playing Anjali in the Sun TV's drama Mr. Manaivi. [4]

Personal life

Shabana married actor Aryan in November 2022 in Chennai. She subsequently adopted her husband's name as her surname. [5] Their marriage has been reported to be troubled because of religious differences. [6]
