Description

Scotchman Peak is part of the Cabinet Mountains which are a subrange of the Rocky Mountains. [4] The peak ranks as the highest point in Bonner County, and fifth in topographic prominence in the state. [1] [5] The mountain is situated five miles (8.0 km) northeast of Clark Fork, Idaho, on land managed by Idaho Panhandle National Forests.
