The San Fernando Department ( Spanish: Departamento de San Fernando) was a Chilean department. In 1891, its capital was San Fernando, and comprised the communes of Roma, Chimbarongo, Nancagua, Palmilla, Placilla, Matanzas, La Estrella, and Pichilemu. [3]
