Saint Paraskeva church ( Ukrainian: Церква святої великомучениці Параскеви) is a Greek Catholic parish church (UGCC) in Kozyna of the Hrymailiv settlement hromada of the Chortkiv Raion of the Ternopil Oblast, the church and bell tower are an architectural monument of national importance. [1]
The first church of St. Paraskeva in the village of Kozyna was built in 1730. The church was consecrated by at. Lisenetskyi. In those years, the parish of Kozyna was a subsidiary parish of the village of Kokoshyntsi. Archival sources state that during the years of at. Semen Liakhovych's ministry, "an old wooden church and bell tower burned down in Kozyna, and in 1864 a new church was built of oak wood...". [2]
