Saba (佐波郡, Saba-gun) was a district located in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan.
As of 2003, the district had an estimated population of 7,946 and a density of 27.37 persons per km2. The total area was 290.35 km2.
Yamaguchi-shi, Tokuji-cho, Aio-cho, Ogori-cho and Ajisu-cho were incorporated into a newly established Yamaguchi-shi as of October 1, 2005.
平成17年10月1日に山口市、小郡町、秋穂町、阿知須町、徳地町の旧1市4町が合併し、新しい山口市が誕生しました。
